FAQs

  • Will the Rhombus 4 and SuperFan fit my side mirrors?
    • Highly likely.  While our blindspot mirrors will be effective on all vehicles, we think they are best fitted for cars with side mirrors that resemble the ones on our Home Page and Fitment Gallery.
  • Will it withstand severe rainy weather?
    • It certainly will.  Just let it completely dry and refrain from tugging on the base while it's soaked.
  • Will it damage my side mirror?
    • No. Our mirrors are installed using very strong 3M adhesive tape. If for any reason you'd like to remove the mirror and its base, use a thin wire (fishing wire will do), and slowly saw your way to removing the base.  You may need Goo Gone to remove leftover adhesive.
  • Do you have to use the adjustable base?
    • Yes.  We plan on having a fixed base in the near future, but we also think the adjustable swaying base makes the blindspot mirror much more effective.
  • Is it car wash safe?
    • Better to be safe than sorry.  We recommend you fold in your side mirrors before entering an automatic drive thru car wash.
  • Can I remove the blindspot mirror without removing the base?
    • Yes, but please be careful as the pointed edges of the blindspot mirror may puncture and crack your side mirror if not done properly.  If you must remove the blindspot mirror itself, grip it with all your fingers and pull slowly, making sure none of the edges are pressing up against your side mirror.  As you pull, use your other hand to hold down the side mirror for leverage.
  • Which blindspot mirror is best for my car?
    • Please navigate to our page "RHOMBUS 4 or SUPERFAN?"
  • Does it come in pairs?
    • Yes.
  • Do I need any tools to install these mirrors?
    • No.  Simple peel and stick.
  • Will it stand the test of time?
    • It sure will.  We stand by our mirrors because we use them ourselves and it's been 2 years!
  • Do I need blindspot mirrors if my car has the lane detection light sensors?
    • What's better than seeing that blind spot with your own eyes?  While lane sensors are a great addition to safer driving, we've noticed its inconsistencies; therefore, we think using the RHOMBUS 4 or SUPERFAN in conjunction with the light sensor is most ideal.
