Why Blindspot Mirrors?

The 'blind spot' has been a consistent safety issue for drivers since the conception of automobiles.  Recently, some automakers have "solved" the problem with complicated warning systems that beep when your blind spot is occupied.  I have a car with this feature, but I've noticed some inconsistencies.  The sensor works often, but I've also noticed enough times where a car has slipped by without detection.  This makes lane changing decisions inconsistent and full of second guesses. 

Traditional blind spot mirrors have been around for ages and I've used them, but I was tired of ruining the look of my car design with a bulky and circular mirror that sticks out like a sore thumb!  The fan shape was recently created as well, but that still did not satisfy my search for the "original" look.

That's when I decided to work with manufacturers and designers in order to create the best looking blind spot mirror on the market.
